Raw Yohimbine HCL powder (65-19-0) Description
Yohimbine is an evergreen tree native to western Africa. It has a compound called yohimbine in its bark. The bark is used to make extracts, tablets, and capsules.
In parts of Africa, tea made from yohimbe bark has been used as an aphrodisiac (to increase sexual desire).
Yohimbine hydrochloride is used as a dietary supplement for impotence, athletic performance, weight loss, chest pain, high blood pressure, diabetic neuropathy, and more.
Yohimbine hydrochloride, a standardized form of yohimbine, is available in the United States as a prescription drug for dysfunction. This is a different product than dietary supplements made from the bark of the tree.
Yohimbine hydrochloride powder (65-19-0) Mechanism of Action
Yohimbine hydrochloride is a pre-synaptic alpha 2-adrenergic blocking agent. The exact mechanism for its use in impotence has not been fully elucidated. However, yohimbine may exert its beneficial effect on ability through blockade of central alpha 2-adrenergic receptors producing an increase in sympathetic drive secondary to an increase in norepinephrine release and in firing rate of cells in the brain noradrenergic nuclei. Yohimbine-mediated norepinephrine release at the level of the corporeal tissues may also be involved. In addition, beneficial effects may involve other neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin and cholinergic receptors.

Recommended Yohimbine hydrochloride powder (65-19-0) Dosage
Yohimbine hydrochloride is mainly in form of capsules with Yohimbine extracts or Yohimbine hydrochloride powder. Sometimes, we can see Yohimbine hydrochloride in liquid form, as extract. Another option is to chew, or eat whole Yohimbe root, but due to problems with its availability and unclear quality status, we don’t recommend it.
You should start with dose of 5 mg of Yohimbine hydrochloride per day. You can increase it even to 15-20mg a day, if you want to gain more benefits of its use, but as always we recommend caution! Don’t overdo it!
Side effects of Raw Yohimbine HCL powder (65-19-0)
Common side effects of yohimbine hydrochloride are:
▪ Stomach pain
▪ Allergic reactions
▪ Increased blood pressure (hypertension)
▪ Increased heart rate (tachycardia)
▪ Kidney failure
Several studies have shown that yohimbine promotes food- and drug-seeking behavior in rats and monkeys.
Because yohimbine reduces clotting, it should be avoided by hemophiliacs and those who have recently undergone surgery. Blood thinners such as aspirin, warfarin, and heparin should not be taken with yohimbine hydrochloride.
